Eligibility for home care is determined by an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) assessment. Generally, you may be eligible if you’re an older person who needs coordinated services to help you stay in your home or a younger person with a disability, dementia, or other special care needs. We design our care plans to be flexible and responsive to your health and lifestyle changes. If your needs change, we can adjust your services accordingly. If necessary, we can also assist you in applying for a higher-level Home Care Package.
Yes, we believe in the importance of a good match between client and caregiver. While we carefully select staff based on your needs and preferences, we’re happy to accommodate requests for specific caregivers when possible. We aim to provide continuity so clients can build strong relationships with familiar faces. You can speak to your dedicated HCP Coordinator at any time to give feedback or request schedule changes at any time.
We maintain strict quality control measures, including thorough staff vetting, ongoing training, regular care plan reviews, and adherence to the Aged Care Quality Standards. We also welcome and act on client feedback to continuously improve our services.
We primarily serve southeastern Sydney and the Sutherland Sydney region, within approximately a 10km radius of Georges Estate in Penshurst. This includes suburbs such as Hurstville, Kogarah, Rockdale, Sutherland Shire and surrounding areas. For specific location queries, please contact our office.
Once you have an approved Home Care Package and have chosen us as your provider, we can typically begin services within 1-2 weeks. In urgent situations, we may be able to start sooner.
All our caregivers undergo comprehensive initial training and participate in ongoing professional development. This includes training in personal care, safety procedures, dementia care, cultural sensitivity, and more. Our clinical staff, such as nurses, maintain all required certifications and registrations.
Absolutely. We believe in coordinated care and are happy to work alongside your existing healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
All our staff are trained in emergency procedures. In case of a medical emergency, they will call 000 and then notify your designated emergency contacts. We also provide a 24/7 support line for urgent situations.
We welcome all feedback as an opportunity to improve. You can provide feedback directly to your caregiver, care coordinator, or through our formal feedback process. All complaints are taken seriously and addressed promptly, with the option to escalate to management if needed.
